How to change username ?

Please explain the procedure to change username in this forum.

You cannot change your username. Usernames will only be changed of those users which have inappropriate username. Eg: idiot

I suppose, users should be allowed to change the name at least once.
In my case, i don't like the username that I've kept. I understand that if a user has made several posts and then changes his username, then it might get a tad difficult for others to recognise him/her. But in my case, i haven't made any post. I think it won't make things difficult if I change my username.

I request you to allow all users to change their username atleast once.

Hi... Changing your username is not a regular procedure, however, it can only be exchanged, uniquely and exclusively by the Administration, but you must contact the Administration and request that change, for which you must explain the reasons that motivate the change your username.
Then the Administration will evaluate your case and decide on it... The Administration could accept or reject your request, or decide in a different way than the one you have requested.

In case the username is changed, will it be a new account or will the old credits/karma get transferred as well?
