Color of current open page in page selection bar

At the bottom of the page in the 'navigation bar' that shows the page numbers, would it be possible to have a prominent color difference between the current page which the user is at and other pages in the Forum/section? At the moment, the difference in the pages is so faint, I often miss /skip pages when browsing the forum pages. No, I'm not color blind or farsighted but the difference is minimal right now.



I mean, something like this, from another Forum (though I don't know what is the code powering that Forum).





I understand there's a next page link at the bottom of the open page, yet, such difference will aid in navigating the pages.
