After seeing your post, I tried accessing both books. I was able to download and open them in ibooks.

I accessed the books from https://www.craxme.com/thread-13765-1-2.html.
Opened them using epub  reading application ibooks.

Tit-for-tat, your URL won't open...you embedded an extra period after the HTML ;)
Nonetheless, I downloaded both ePUB [neither empty] and tested. They open just fine in Edge.
For your consideration: I used the Rate button to show a little appreciation to the original Uploader for their effort.
