But seriously: To me it seems like a relict of the old forums. Maybe just get rid of it? Or as an experiment 'hide' this feature for a while and then see if someone actually missed it?
Pedro's guidelines on money and pricing are a bit inconsistent anyway, placing it somewhere between discouraged and banned.
